Welcome
The term "Framed" refers to the act of enclosing or presenting something within a frame, which is a common practice in photography to enhance the visual appeal of an image. "Shot" relates to capturing a photograph, often used to describe the act of taking a picture. Together, "The Framed Shot" suggests a focus on both the artistic presentation of photographs and the moments captured, implying a professional and curated approach to photography. The name evokes a sense of artistry and attention to detail in the photography business.

I have been an avid photographer for over 40 years and during that time have used a range of camera types and brands. My first experienced into this hobby was a Polaroid Colorpack 80 using a film pack for instant pictures. As technology changed so did my camera choices and I migrated to a Canon AE-1 35mm film SLR (A single-lens reflex camera (SLR) is a type of camera that uses a mirror and prism system) Camera with 50mm 1:1.8 Lens with an 80-200 mm zoom lens. It was not long after that I built my own darkroom to process 35 mm film and slides. This included all of the equipment and products such as a Beseler 23C II XL Darkroom Enlarger.
My next upgrade as film developing was becoming an expensive hobby was to migrate into the digital realm of cameras. I have owned over the years many brands and type such as Olympus Camedia C-120 using a Smartmedia Card with usb reader. I then moved to SD digital cameras and a few brands in my quest for the best and affordable ones were Kodak EasyShare, a few different models of Nikon Coolpix models, Canon Powershot models until my current camera which is a Canon Rebel EOS T5i DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex).
To round off my configuration I also use:
• Canon Pro Camera Bag
• Dolica Proline Tripod
• Canon 50mm Lens
• Canon 18-55 Macro Lens
• Canon 75-300 Zoom Lens
• Canon SpeedlightFlash
• Vivitar 2.2x Telephoto Converter
• JJC Wireless Remote Controller
• Assorted filers such as Skylight, UV, and Polarizer
